May 2016 Spotlight Volunteer:

Charlie Lane

“Getting to see how big of an impact we really have, and how much we help [is the most meaningful part of service]. Sometimes I feel like I haven't done much to help but they always really appreciate it and it makes such a big difference.” – Charlie

Charlie joined the Boston Cares community in June 2014 as a member of our Teen Advisory Council (TAC) and has logged over 150 hours of service! His favorite projects include Room To Grow, and any of our National Days of Service - like MLK Day and Global Youth Service Day. When he's not immersed in projects with the TAC or Learn & Serve, Charlie is busy finishing up his studies at the Advanced Math and Science Academy.
