Come out and make a difference with families from all over Boston! On Saturday, November 19, 2016, volunteers of all ages and their families and friends will gather at the IUEC Local 4 in Dorchester to participate in the nation-wide Family Volunteer Day, a signature Points of Light day of service powered by generationOn.

Join us from 10am -12pm as we
work together to create STEM kits for students in Boston Public Schools, including make-your-own robot kits and basic engineering kits.

Kid Friendly, 5+. If you at least 15 years old and have Registered with Boston Cares, you may sign up and attend Family Volunteer Day on your own.

This project is open to Pending members who have registered with Boston Cares. You do not need to have attended an orientation.

All volunteers under 18 years old must bring a Permission Form signed by a parent or guardian to turn in at registration. Please email or call Katie Edelman with any questions: kedelman@bostoncares.org, 617-422-0910 x 208.

If a family/group member is under 13 years old: First, please register and sign up any group members who are over 13. Then immediately email Katie Edelman at kedelman@bostoncares.org with 5-12 year old participants' full names and birthdates (00/00/0000).

Groups of volunteers must sign up with at least 1 adult volunteer (age 18+) for every 3 youth volunteers (ages 17 and under).
